Located in the heart of Aortia Province, Crest City is the capital of The Frontier and the place where the powerful make decisions that shape the world. The Administration, led by The Prime Marshal, governs Crest City and holds regular meetings that impact its citizens and all the other Provinces.
Anyone who is anyone will tell you that to make a name for yourself Crest City is the place to be and where people from all walks of life rub up against each other in a mad dash for survival, superiority and success.
What is the architecture of Crest City like?
The layout of Crest City is a mixture of baroque and brutalist architecture, which regularly clash and contrast with each other. There’s massive industrial factories, sprawling manor houses, run-down hovels, grand statues of the gods and everything in between.

How is Crest City set out?
The city is set out into five distinct quarters:
High Quarter
The High Quarter is where the richest citizens of Crest City live and the area is dominated by gaudy manor homes and opulent structures.
Many businessmen and politicians make their home in High Quarter and it’s also where Parliament Palace is located. This is the building that The Administration conduct their meetings in and is where the Prime Marshal lives.
Merchant Quarter
The Merchant Quarter is where all of the most important shops are found in Crest City and is something of a bridge between High Quarter and Low Quarter.
The wives of wealthy politicians mingle with shopkeepers looking to move beyond their station. Urchins from Low Quarter deliver messages back and forth, while trying to keep their heads above water.
Medico Quarter
Medico Quarter is where a large concentration of Crest City’s doctors, scholars and artists live and spend their time.
The most striking building in this part of the city is the Grand Temple of Tulapian, a hospital and place of worship for the god of medicine and artists.
Low Quarter
True to its name, Low Quarter is where the poorest and most downtrodden of Crest City dwell.
A patchwork of alleys, tiny hovels stacked on top of each other, cramped spaces, bordellos and brothels, Low Quarter is where people go to fight, fuck and die.
Cotton Quarter
Named after the material that’s regularly produced and shipped to all parts of The Frontier, Cotton Quarter is filled with large factories and workshops.
They house many of the city’s regular workers and craftsmen who are focused on trying to get through the daily grind.
